There are a lot of choices when shopping for silk flower hair clips, and some are much better than others!  The good news is that it's pretty easy to tell the difference between the good and the bad, and I intend on showing you how to decipher it, as well as some great places to get them from.

Most importantly, you're going to get what you pay for.  What's the difference between a hair flower that costs $6.99 and one that costs $20?  Craftsmanship.  The cheaper flowers are made in factories all over the world by anonymous people.  The more expensive ones are made by hand in someone's home or shop and sold by a real person to you.

That's not to say that you can't get a lot from a cheap hair flower, but don't expect much creativity and uniqueness!

There are also some flowers that are made on bobby pins and cheap clips.  These tend to not stay in your hair very well and fall apart.  Certainly, they cost much less, but don't expect much mileage out of them!
